Wage growth outpaces productivity in Belarus as loss-making enterprises rise

According to the National Statistics Committee, the rate at which Belarusians are becoming wealthier has been increasing for three consecutive months. This growth rate is nearly double what the authorities had predicted. However, not all Belarusians feel they are becoming wealthier. Alisa Ryzhychenka, a representative of the United Transitional Cabinet for Economy and Finance, addressed this discrepancy in a Belsat discussion.
