An attack from Belarusian territory could create a more serious situation for Lithuania than a blockade of the Suwalki Corridor or an attack from the Kaliningrad Oblast. This is the conclusion reached by Lithuanian researchers, who modeled four military threat scenarios and assessed the consequences of each for roads, civilian evacuation, the country’s supply lines, and the movement of NATO forces. “Belsat” reviewed their work and examined the challenges Lithuania would face in each of the four scenarios.
