For the first time in a long while, Belarus has started earning foreign currency from its external trade: exports of goods and services have exceeded imports. Economist Anastasiya Luzhina told Belsat that Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries may be behind the improvement, meaning that Belarus's current trade surplus is likely to be temporary.
