Belarus has become a testing ground for modern authoritarianism, where mechanisms of repression are perfected: politically motivated criminal cases, torture, "extremist" lists, and the passport decree. Yet this pressure does not end within our borders—it crossed them long ago. What is the status of repressions today, and how can transnational persecution be countered?
