Ukraine’s Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War says that 22 Belarusian citizens who fought for Russia remain in Ukrainian captivity. Speaking to Belsat, Uladzimir Zhihar, a representative of the BELPOL initiative, said the Belarusian authorities have no interest in bringing these men home, adding that Minsk’s tacit approval of the recruitment of Belarusians into the Russian army amounts to complicity in the war.
