Human rights activist Raman Kisliak filed a complaint with the UN Human Rights Committee after Georgia denied him asylum. On July 21, he visited the Migration Department to be interviewed and to find out his current status. A few days prior, border police had visited his lawyer and instructed Kisliak to report to the migration service. Raman shared details with Belsat about the outcome of his visit to the department and the overall situation facing Belarusians in Georgia.
