During his imprisonment, Maksim Znak developed a project aimed at encouraging fellow prisoners to read and wrote 18 manuscripts, totaling around five thousand pages. Although all of these texts were confiscated, he is now attempting to restore them from memory. At a meeting with Belarusians in Vilnius, Znak shared his songs and recounted how he managed to bypass prison restrictions on accessing literature, as well as how he nearly lost the ability to walk in the PKT (single-cell tight security unit).
