Many Belarusian banks have been placed under sanctions by the European Union, the United States, and other countries. Sanctions lists are constantly changing—most often expanding, though exceptions are occasionally introduced. As a result, using a Belarusian bank card to pay for goods and services abroad is becoming increasingly difficult. Belsat examines which Belarusian bank cards currently work outside Belarus.
