Belarus has been ranked among the ten worst countries in the world for workers. This conclusion is presented in the new Global Rights Index 2026, published annually by the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC). According to the report’s authors, pressure on workers continues to intensify in many countries, but Belarus has once again been grouped alongside Egypt, Nigeria, Turkey, and other states where people are effectively deprived of reliable guarantees for the protection of their labor rights.
