The world has become a less safe place for the twelfth consecutive year. This is the conclusion reached by the authors of the new Global Peace Index 2026 – one of the most well-known international rankings assessing the level of peace and security in different countries. Belarus ranked 115th out of 163 states, rising four positions compared to last year. However, the country remains far from its indicators at the end of the 2010s.
