On International Children's Day, the Belarusian authorities often make statements regarding their love and care for children. They use familiar phrases in their rhetoric, such as family values, a peaceful sky overhead, condemning the West, discussing our future, hope, and support. However, all of this rhetoric is unnecessary. What we truly need is to view children as real individuals.
