Former political prisoner and journalist Katsiaryna Andreyeva gave her first major interview after her release on the program “Morning with Belsat.” She spoke about her emotional departure from the penal colony, being taken to Lithuania without a choice, her first steps in freedom in Warsaw, and her shock at new technologies. Katsiaryna admitted that if she had been allowed, she would have stayed in Belarus, as her husband — political prisoner Ihar Ilyash — remains behind bars there. His imminent release is now her main dream and goal.
