On the occasion of International Women’s Solidarity Day, a panel discussion, “The First Step: How Belarusian Women Go Public,” was held in Warsaw. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya took part in the event. She told how in 2020 she decided to submit documents to the Central Election Commission instead of her husband, which was and remains the scariest thing on this path, and where she looks for support if needed.
