Release from prison does not necessarily mean a return to normal life for former political prisoners. This is confirmed by a study entitled “Resocialization of Former Political Prisoners,” published on the “Bank of Ideas” website. The study shows the problems faced by former political prisoners in Belarus and in exile, what kind of support they need most, and what gaps in the support system need to be addressed. Belsat has compiled the main findings of the study.
