The government has approved the state program "Ensuring Law and Order" for 2026–2030. The program is a large-scale infrastructure project, funded by the budget, focused on the construction and reconstruction of facilities for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Internal Troops, and the penitentiary system. BELPOL representative Uladzimir Zhyhar told Belsat that the program is not directly related to public safety.
