The previous agreement between Minsk and Moscow regarding the supply of Russian gas to Belarus ended with the striking of the New Year's chimes. There is still no new one, except for the incomprehensible statements of the Belarusian ambassador to Russia, which do not disclose either prices or other conditions. And this may indicate that the Belarusian authorities again failed to persuade their Russian colleagues to make concessions on the gas issue.
