The heated discussion on social media about the release of another group of political prisoners was entirely predictable, given their composition and the fact that 114 of the 123 people were deported to Ukraine. It is easy to understand the logic behind the authorities' decision to send Belarusians there together with Ukrainian citizens. There are several options, but the main thing is that Lukashenka has demonstrated that he can send his opponents to any country except Russia. Thus, perhaps unwittingly, he has shown that, for him, Ukraine is now on a par with the countries of the European Union.
