The Association of Former BELPOL Officers and the National Anti-Crisis Management (NAM) presented a document entitled “Children without a future: the militarization of childhood in Belarus.” The authors of the report believe that familiarizing children with military topics is “a strategy for the regime's survival, built on Lukashenka's fear of a new generation that could threaten him.”
