In October, Belarusian ideologues received fresh “information materials” for propaganda groups. The topic was “The Role of Family Values in Modern Society.” At first glance, it seems to be about family, love, and children. In reality, it is about the subjugation of the family to the state, the cult of tradition, and the fight against the “corrupting West.” We looked at these documents and explain how the state is building a new ideological narrative through the theme of family.
