Belteleradiocompany annually spends millions of Belarusian rubles to spread its propaganda on several continents at once. This is stated by the Bureau after studying the tender documentation of the state media holding.
According to the signed contracts, BT has been purchasing telecommunication services for satellite distribution of the TV program "Belarus 24" and the radio program "Belarus" since 2022. Among the suppliers are the Russian Ostankino Telecom and Satellite Television, as well as the Azercosmos Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Belarusian Precision Electromechanics Plant.
In 2025, the broadcaster has already paid for the broadcast of its products throughout Russia, in Central (full coverage) and Western Asia (with mandatory full coverage of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia), in Western (full coverage), Eastern, Northern (with mandatory full coverage of the UK, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia) and Southern Europe (with mandatory full coverage of Serbia), in South America and the Caribbean (full coverage), in North, West (full coverage), Eastern (with mandatory Zimbabwe coverage) and South Africa.
The concluded contracts have already cost BT more than 2 million rubles (about 550 thousand Euros).
Broadcasting in Russia is the most expensive - almost 700 thousand rubles. The cost of covering Europe and Asia in total is almost 780 thousand rubles.
Broadcasting propaganda to South America, the Caribbean and Africa costs almost 565 thousand rubles.
From 2022 to 2025, Belteleradiocompany has already spent almost 8 million rubles (almost 2.5 million Euros) from the state budget on this broadcasting.
Bear in mind that in January 2024, thanks to Cyber Partisans, the salaries of the management of the state news agency BelTA became known. The maximum monthly salary of the deputy head of the BelTA department Jauhen Vanshin in 2023 amounted to 8864 rubles. His department covers the activities of Alyaksandr Lukashenka. This is a videographer who travels with Lukashenka.
The head of the same department, Vladimir Matveev, had a maximum accrued salary of 7928 rubles. The maximum salary of the agency's general director Irina Akulovich is close to it - 7439 rubles.
5434 rubles is the maximum monthly salary of one of the hosts of the project "In the Topic" Andrei Voropai, who humiliates the figures of the Belarusian opposition, accuses Kyiv of terrorist attacks, etc.
But ordinary BelTA journalists earn about 2 thousand rubles a month.
