The heart of Belarusian cinema beats in exile today. The 10th Bulbamovie Belarusian Film Festival occurred November 22-24 at Iluzjon Cinema in Warsaw. Its founder and leading arranger since 2014 has been Janusz Gawryluk, a Polish documentary filmmaker and long-time editor of documentaries at Belsat TV. Our station has been the event's leading partner and media patron for a decade. "Today, I will dream of cows with wet eyes." On Sunday, at the end of the anniversary edition of the review of Belarusian independent cinema, awards were presented to the winners of the "Young Belarusian Cinema" competition. Golden Bulba (bel. potato) was awarded to the director of the film "Magic Scissors," Hanna Avota (best feature film) and the director of the movie "Champion 471" Mikita Pandeka (best documentary). Over 30 feature and documentary films participated in the "Young Belarusian Cinema" competition. 10 of them (5 feature films and 5 documentaries) were included in the festival screening program. The jury announced the winners - Belarusian director and screenwriter Vlada Syunkova and Polish film critic Michal Konarski.
