The other day I read information that in 2023 more than 281,000 Belarusians received residence permits in the European Union for the first time. The main words in this information are "for the first time". That is, it is not the total number of all citizens of Belarus living in the united Europe. It's not the number of residence permits issued to Belarusians in 2023. This is the number of our fellow citizens who have received either a permanent residence card or a visa with permission to stay in the European Union for three months and more.
