This year marks the fourth "celebration" of the Day of National Unity, which Lukashenka declared after the last presidential election. Many Belarusians still can't understand who needs this holiday, why, and most importantly, who and how it led to unity. At the same time, the regime is trying its best to make the holiday one of the most important in the country - along with May 9 and July 3. So far, it hasn't worked.
